I’m Alison and here’s a bit more about me…
I trained as a hairdresser in London and then spent the next couple of years gaining experience as a salon stylist. My wish to create the complete look led me to college in Nottinghamshire to spend a year training as a make-up artist.
My work has taken me from general hairdressing, to television make-up, to my absolute passion; bridal hair and make-up. I’ve been lucky to work with some wonderful people along the way and still love working in hair and make-up now as much as the day I started!
Belonging to several professional organisations enables me to continually develop my skills by attending courses and seminars, and access online training.
I live in West Sussex and much of my work is in the South East but weddings have taken me all over the UK. I do love a destination wedding and am lucky enough to have travelled to France, Spain, Italy, Sardinia and Fiji to create that perfect look for my brides’ wedding days.

Alison was highly professional and reliable from start to finish, she was always quick to answer any questions that I had and really took the time to listen to what I wanted.
On the day itself, I could not believe how beautiful she made me look, she worked with my natural hair using extensions and it was impossible to tell that it wasn’t all my own! Everyone commented on how beautiful my hair and make-up looked and also how natural.
Alison’s warm and friendly personality meant it was like having an extra friend in the room. She was amazing at calming my nerves and had lots of kind words when I needed them most.
